Great to see leaders at Land O'Lake and TCF Bank see the value of investing in the University of Minnesota in a big way!!!!!!!!

How about some of the other Fortune 500 companies that call MN home stepping up as well?

Medtronic - maybe they can send along some of the savings from U.S. tax dodging strategies.

United Health - do they still pay their CEO $100 million a year?

In all fairness, some of these companies likely provide some support to the UofM that I am not aware of.

Regarding United Health - I'm not sure on their current CEO pay scale, but yes, they are literally rolling in cash. Scrooge McDuck money.

With all the huge corporations in Minnesota one wouldn't think it would take long to raise a couple hundred million dollars. Hopefully the Land O' Lakes money will be a start to significant fundraising!
