Come on! This should have been ready to go the moment the Reusse show ended.

I saw that too

I was looking for the same thing. But, quite a few heads rolled. I would imagine podcasts might be a lower priority for them right now.
I'm not sure what to think about the move to ESPN radio. It seems to me they're going the way of newspapers. Do less with less. Mike & Mike in the Morning? Eww. Bring back Bob Yates.

You got that right.

I listened to 1500 on my way to work this A.M. Maybe Doogie's insight is sound, but I wonder if he could take voice lessons for a more polished presentation.

Still nothing for podcasts, but anyone else notice how much ruesse looks like John Prine???

How many times do I have to tell you? Brewster handed Reusse his azz in that interview.

NO WAY THE "FAT AZZ FROM FULDA" ALLOWS THAT TO BE PODCAST!

ha! what you get for wanting to listen to those clowns talk. They all have a face for radio and a voice for newspaper.

so true.

I can't figure out which on air staff is uglier KFAN or KSTP. Just when I think Soucheray's goofy eyeballs are leading I recall Dan Cole's face on KMSP.
I would like to see a photo of the woman who wakes up up everyday to see Dan Cole's face next to her. He is Methusala

Thanks ... voice always is a little off in the morning a bit, especially after 3-4 hours of sleep ... normally returns to somewhat normalcy by the 8a hour.
Thanks for listening.

Love the conspiracy theory, but there were no podcasts at all recorded that day. As the first day in the new format, they were working out some kinks - the podcasts were a casualty from that entire broadcast day. There is a zero percent chance they've chosen to just can the entire day so as to not broadcast that interview. On the contrary, day one of a new format is bound to bring significant traffic both to the show and the podcasts. They would never intentionally miss out on the chance to reach many new listeners. They just plain dropped the ball on day one.

Doogie, I listened this morning and everything sounded fine. good job.

Thanks again for listening ... Just as a listener, I like that there is another option in town ... friendly competition is fun, and doing what I've done the last two days -- being the 2nd/3rd voice is easy ... I do not envy Phunn, who puts in a ton of prep ... in my chair, you just react.

I have found the topics and interviews on AM1500 much better than KFAN. I don't enjoy the X's and O's of KFAN as much. Ruesse seems to have a great list of contacts to get on his show.

So far today Reusse has interviewed somebody about Gophers Basketball (I forget who), Tom Lehman, and somebody from Spain who is close to Ricky Rubio. There is not a chance in hell that anybody on KFAN would have done any one of these interviews.

I've never heard X's and O's on KFan.

I hope this causes KFAN to actually start trying to be a sports radio channel or puts them out of business. It would be nice to have 2 good sports talk radio stations in the twin cities since we have had zero for so long

Just a warning if you listen to Reusse during the Olympics. He gives no warning before reading results from the Olympics. At least Soucheray does on his show. I refuse to listen to Reusse the next couple of weeks.

If you're going to hold a seminar on spelling, I think people need to learn the difference between "loose" and "lose" -- and "Gray" and "Grey" first.

I listened to you guys a bit this morning on my way into work, and I thought it was pretty decent for being a "slap together morning show." Too bad it couldn't continue in the morning, I won't be listening to Mike & Mike or Cowherd. The only national show I go out of my way to listen to is Jim Rome.

Anyway, I hope we get to hear more of you guys on the air in the future.

Doogie, seriously, what was up with the flashing of the leg going on in the studio this morning??? You guys seem to be having a lot of fun, keep it up.

What KSTP is Saying About Missing Reusse Podcasts

Here is a note I got from Steve Konrad at KSTP AM1500:

"We had a significant malfunction last week and the back-end of thesystem had to be rebuilt. Not sure that any podcasts prior to Feb 17 can be salvaged. If they can, they will be repopulated to the On Demand section, but the IT guys are not confident that they will be found. Sorry."

So tech appears to be the issue. Too bad.

Honestly, it was super hot in the studio ... was trying to cool down ... Thanks for listening ... will be back in there Tues. and Thurs a.m. ... working on a Gophers football related guest or two ... will keep you posted.
