I can't say I'm the biggest fan of Ol' Kris, mostly because he always struck me as an intensely selfish player, although there's no doubt that he could play some ball when he was here. However, I just heard about what I consider to be the paramount achievement in Mr. Humphries' life, dating Kim Kardashian. This just reaffirms the lesson taught by the life of Marko Jaric, life is good for a basketball player.
Actually, though, hearing that news reminded me of how terrible things were back in the day, even though we had legit first round talent every couple of years, it seemed like. We were getting the Przybillas and the Humphries, but I'd much rather have this year's team (although I still like at least one or two guys on this team to be first rounders at some point). It got boring seeing our "star" chuck it, while we lost by twenty. Now, would I like having a recruit like Humphries on the team right now? We could certainly use the scoring. But I like Tubby's system of recruiting good kids with talent, that are willing to be molded (I consider Royce the anomaly).
