Some day, don't know when, we'll have prominent major-college athletes from the revenue sports go on strike. It'll be a sad day if it ever comes to that. We will have officially crossed the line where those of us who prefer college athletics will have to accept our sports have become just like the pros.

that would be a simple negotiation

on strike, OK, we have now pulled your scholarship, your housing money, your food money and here's a $25,000 bill if you wish to stay in school and don't forget to tell mom and dad your a college drop out. Anyone else wanna come play football for a free education, i have four years of eligibility left and I was an all conference cb, sign me up.
