This summer Maye said his goal was 60 receptions. He's at 49 now and has a very good shot to reach his goal. He's really been a nice and consistent weapon for us.

Go Gophers!!

I was worried b/c he had too many drops the first few games and just wasn't really looking good. But since then he has been one of our best offensive players.

The passing game has really been nice the past few weeks, he is a big part of that

They've found ways to isolate him and get him free on a few patterns. He's pretty darn good after the catch. I hope Snelson watches what they are doing with Maye, because I think that is what they have envisioned for him.

Always difficult to tell how college WRs will do at the next level. With all the touch football offenses out there in the pros right now, if a guy like Maye finds the right situation, he may stick somewhere.

Heard them say on the broadcast that he was over 40 and hadn't realized it was that many. For perspective, 60 would tie him for 7th on the alltime single season record list. Eric Decker has the top two spots at 84 in 2008 and 67 in 2007. KJ won't make it to 84, but if he stays at his current pace and gets to a bowl game, he could climb to the second spot.

I'm sure Snelson enjoyed watching Saturday night (assuming he did). He has mentioned Maye specifically in interviews about hoping they get him the ball more.

Wouldn't be surprised if he made a practice team or even active roster as a special teams guy. He's really impressed this season.
