Go Gophers!!

Wow....that's something coming from Herbie. He's usually pretty much mum on the Gophers.

This person seems like a good guy.

Until he says something I don't like.

I love the pick, but if I recall correctly, he also picked Arizona State to make the college football playoffs last year.

To be fair, so did I. Sometimes great minds just get things wrong. ;)

It obviously means he's wised up and has figured things out

I finally have a reason to value Herbie's opinion.

We are talking about the number 53 car, right?

Herbie is hitching a ride on the Leidner freight train.

Could be worse it could have been Corso

You have to think Corso wants an excuse to put on the Gopher head and spin it on Game Day before he retires.

+1. Maybe for Gameday at Madison come end of November?

Who cares what he says. We just need to produce. Talk is extremely cheap.

He retired and is not longer on the Game Day broadcast.

Is that true? I knew that Gameday had a staff shakeup but I didn't remember hearing Corso was retiring. A quick google search doesn't bring anything up on him retiring either.

I saw those articles, but a quick skim was more a theoretical on who should replace Corso when he retires. I think he's still on the broadcast.

Wasn't there a quote or something from a person who is connected with the Goldy program that said they wouldn't let Corso put on a Goldy head? I thought I remember hearing/reading that.

Which is too bad. He was the most entertaining part. I liked how he pointed his pen at everyone as he taught them something new about football.

As long as he says nice stuff about us.
We said the same things about Dienhart last year but have turned on him this year.

I think that's the joke.

The criticisms of Dienhart have almost always been because he gets so many names and facts incorrect all the time. Ridiculous for a guy who only covers one conference.

Not debating this at all. But we as a group over looked it last year because the Gophers were his darlings last year in thepreseason.
I can't remember the last time I watched gameday.
