I have seen in person many football practices from a number of coaches and their staffs and I would have to say that Kill and his staff do a better job than most.

Especially in teaching fundamentals and the mental aspects of the game. Just what most young freshman directly from High School need. I would have to say that if the freshman isn't a 5 star recruit and wants to be right up there at the top when he graduates from college with the best of them, he should seriously consider what Kill and his staff have to offer. They can evaluate talent and teach!!!

Thanks for the post. What specifically did you see that you liked better than past staffs? One thing that I respect is that it seems they maximize the time given to them and ensure reps for all the players.

I saw a fall-camp practice with each Brew and Kill. Brew literally thought he was running a pro team - assuming the kids were accountable to do conditioning on their own and stuff like that. Pretty disorganized.

Kill is a lot more involved in the specifics, but the biggest difference was practice game-plan and pacing. Not a minute was wasted at the practice I went to. The one thing they do have in common is a propensity for playing hot booty jams during practice. I could go without that.
