Based on the video and the writeup I would bet he is being recruited as a kicker only. If he has the mental ability to handle the increased speed and pressure of the college game he could be a good one because he clearly seems to have the leg strength needed.

I'm going to go out on a limb but at 6'5" 270 if he could tackle I am pretty sure he would no longer be a kicker. Some coach would have put that size to use on offense or defense.

I certainly don't know but I wouldn't be surprised if he leaves since he has a scholarship now. I doubt it that he is going to get offer from another school for a scholarship.
