KFAN/iHeartRadio app

I usually listen to the game at the gym on the iHeartRadio app that streams KFAN. For the Iowa game, KFAN just kept playing commercials interspersed with clips advertising their morning show. They never put the game on. Very frustrating.

Anybody else have this problem? Was KFAN still playing the game on the radio but not streaming? Anyone know if this will be the case for today as well or if that was an isolated incident?

I believe that there are contractual agreements that prevent KFAN from streaming Gopher games online (if you were listening online previously, it may just effect Big Ten games, I'm not positive). Doogie could probably fill us in here.

Huh. That would make sense with it being the first Big Ten game. I was able to listen to the Big Ten games last year with no problems, though, so maybe it somehow flew under the radar last year.

Well, looks like I'm back to not being able to cheer on my team. Thanks Big Ten Network.

I'll give that a try but I'm not sure it will work on my iPhone. That was the nice part about iHeartRadio is I could listen on the go rather than at a computer.
