Keys to beat Iowa:
You cannot beat yourself.
Stick with the run, even if we are getting 1 or 2 yards per carry.
Try some screens and quick slants.
You have to slow down there pass rush, make them "look" for other things. Make them send extra players to get a pass rush.
Iowa loads the box and has 2 deep safeties. The middle is tough.
You can try and hit wr's outside one on one.
If our oline and dline can play as fired up as they were against Nebraska, we can do it.
They have beat us up on the line of scrimmage over the years.
Obviously, we should load the box, and risk one on one's with their not too talented wr's. We will need to run blitz. We cannot let Gronowki beat us either as he is a tough runner. He destroyed Penn state with 9 runs for 130 yards. They will try end arounds, and mis direction, we have to maintain the edge always. They have to manufacture offense besides straight runs. trick plays to get talented returner Wetjen the ball.
Iowa thrives on turnovers and excellent special teams. KR/PR and sometime WR Kaden Wetjen could be the best returner in the big ten. We may have to angle kicks out of bounds.
If we win it will be because we fought smart and hard for every inch of that field!
