I was hoping to see signs we were after a PG. An absolute must in the 2013 class. When Dre graduates, this tender will show run the show as a junior. It used to be quite fashionable on this board to criticize Tubby's recruiting, I just have never seen it. We ride the 5 sophomores to be as far as they will take us, and the upcoming 2013 class should be the next wave as juniors.

Okay, so pretend it's 2014. Tyus just committed to Duke. Tubby can pretty much call up any available point guard he wants and guarantee them immediate playing time. Plus, think of all the potential transfers that would think of Minnesota and the immediate playing time available.
 

I see him as a replacement for Welch

If Tyus signs then he can play backup PG and SG if not then he plays more PG...
