"Meeting with Coach Kill was a good one.all unwanted was a winning coach and he has proven himself to be just that.ready to get to work!!!"

"I know #GopherNation has their opinions on Coach Kill but honestly I'm ready to work for the guy...as long as he's ready to work for US"

Go Gophers!!

Can you really put much stock in what someone who bought the brewster snakeoil lock, stock and barrel has to say?

I don't think he's putting stock into what Keanon said, just mentioning it because it means the players are buying into Kill. That is VERY important.

Cooper has met with coach Kill, have you?

Obviously Cooper liked what he heard and is ready to go to work for the man. He liked the message.

I don't think a lot of the players who were on the team when Brewster took over ever totally bought into him. I have no data on that. Just a feeling. Shaw's kerfuffle on the way out the door probably had something to do with that.

So you have a 50 year old, man of the world vs. a 20 year old dunderhead from TX. Gee...I wonder who is going to win when it comes to implanting his message. Just saying....Cooper does not have a very good track record when it comes to being accurate with reading "messages!"

They all bought into brewster too........very important!!

You're right, my bad. The players should rebel against the coach - that is best for our program.

What it comes down to is this: you aren't going to give Kill a shot because Maturi made grandiose promises that he couldn't deliver on. Sure, the players liked Brewster. You think we would have been any better if they hadn't? Kill is no Brewster - he has lots of head coaching experience. Please wait and judge the man on his year 1 performance/rounding out this recruiting class.

Coach Kill will demand respect. And he will get it his way or the highway. That is the way it is.

Welcome to Minnesota, coach.

And he knows what he's doing and kids can usually spot a phony a mile away. I agree that he is going to command respect.

None of this has a point or relates to my point. The point is/was, why post a tweet here like it is some indication of future nirvana when it is coming from some 20 year old kid with a poor track record of choosing what/who to be impressed by? You could have put him in front of Jerry Glanville this morning and he would have walked away "ready to go to work" for him.

If the past few weeks here have taught you anything, it should that collectively, this group does not do a very good job of reading tea leaves or deciphering 'tweets!'

Already answered your stupid post, but you fail to see it. I said this wasn't posted to say that Kill is the greatest thing since sliced bread. I said it was posted to say that the players buy into the new coach. Then you said buying into the coach wasn't important, because they bought into Brewster. Then I said that things would not have been better if the players rebelled against Brewster. What a great short term memory you have.

Explain to me how players buying into a coach is bad for our program. You are entitled to your opinion, just as a man who thinks the world is flat is entitled to his, but if you intend to convince anyone you ought to present your arguments in a rational and logical fashion.

A kid said something positive about the new coach, but we should be skeptical because he is a stupid kid since he fell for Brewster. Got it.

Wow.....do you load boxes at UPS?

I think it's more - "These players should be just as up in arms as we are!"

The only point you have ever made on this site is that you hate everything. Serioulsy, give it a rest or come up with some new material.

Hate is a passion that generates innovation. If more of the "fans" hated losing as much as I do, we might be winners instead of hanging on tweets from a 20 year old college kid.

Gray just tweeted this to GH:

@GopherHole he is gonna change the program around but its up to us players to help basically

I am not up in arms. Am I supposed to be? I didn't realize there were rules.

No, I was saying that as a quote of Klondike. You don't have to be up in arms. I was at first, because I don't like the hire, but as I've said I'm behind Kill until he shows me that the job is over his head.
