I was flipping through the directory with Grandma Husker, and settled on Kare 11 at 6. They opened with Coach Kill. Randy Shaver was holding a folded copy of the ST and he appeared to be mad.
This is the report:

He should use it to smack Souhan on the back of the head. Not a Shaver fan but both he and Coach Kill are cancer survivors.

I'm not a Shaver fan either but I'll give him credit...on 93x this morning he was very strong in defending Coach Kill from Souhan's column.

KQRS has not exactly been a friend of the U football program, but Tom, Sansavere and Phillip Wise were all very complimentary and supportive of Kill this morning. The only local media that I've heard strongly backing Soupcan so far and Judd and Dubay. Funny, what do they have in common? If Dubay was still on the FAN, he'd have ripped Souhan a new one for his ignorance.

A couple of things:

1. It's apparent Souhan did not write the article to 'generate clicks'. He actually believes what he wrote.

2. He also blasted Teague and the U for that way this was handled and blasted the MN sports fans for accepting the whole situation.

Time for Souhan to go. At the very least suspended.

Judd and Dubay also deserve a public reprimand by espn1500 at least.

Well, at least Kare11 didn't blatantly misrepresent the scene at the game on Saturday.

They had a quick blurb on what happened this evening on their 9 o'clock news and stated "this was the scene from the game on Saturday" and followed it up with multiple shots from the game with people a gasp in the stands, players on knee looking on longingly and also a final shot of a player crying. The problem is that all those shots were from the 2011 seizure that took place at the end of the NMSU game. The players were in maroon jerseys (they wore golf ones this weekend and were headed into the locker room when it happened), and it was Kirksey crying.

Yet another incorrect portrayal of how things went on Saturday from the Media.

Dubay is a total " candy " sniffing d- bag. You would have thought rehab would've made him growup.
