That is a lot of NIL. It seems an awful lot of good could have been accomplished with that money rather than buying future bragging rights. Kansas, ugh.

I don't think technically any of that money can be used to pay NIL. The article states $75 million will go to the construction project, and the remaining will support KU athletics. I took that as the funds would help bolster the athletic department's budget.

However, if there is a program that can figure out how to siphon illegitimate funds to players, I'd bet on Kansas.
