per KAAL:
Vikings cornerback, and Rochester native, Marcus Sherels was in Rochester this morning talking to people in the community about role models.
It was for the heroes breakfast, a fundraiser for the Boys and Girls club of Rochester. Sherels was a guest speaker at that breakfast. He also got the chance this week to hang out with kids at the club.
"It was so much fun," Sherels said. "I think I probably had more fun than they did. We played dodgeball, got hit in the face a few times, played some basketball, did some arts and crafts, and read some books. So it was a good time."
When asked who his role model is, Sherels said his older brother Mike Sherels who is a linebackers coach for the University of Minnesota Gophers football team.
