What's up with Ra'shede?

It's come up the last 2 weeks via Twitter and email and I wish I had the answer. The Gophers
have always tried to play a lot of defensive lineman, but there have been long
stretches during the last 2 games with Ra'shede Hageman on the sidelines. He
had his left wrist taped on Saturday and also had his right arm treated for turf
burn but to my knowledge there isn't another injury keeping him off the field.
His status is something to watch this week.

Go Gophers!!

I was asking out loud the same questions about #99, during the game, but neither my wife or the TV had any answers.

He seems to spend a lot of time on the sideline for a can't miss NFL draft pick. I hope he is okay.

I'd get a new wife.

Jello Shots are indeed hard to overlook.

If Schnauzer is replacing the jello shot wife, I'd like to send my resume her way. My girlfriend never brings jello shots in her purse.

But does she have interactive TV or know what's up with Shede? Those outweigh Jello Shots....just ask Schnauzer.

By the way....does anyone out there have all of the above?

Probably GopherLady.

Go Gophers!!

My guess is conditioning. Indiana playing too quickly for him to catch his breath between plays? He's a great player, but needs to be more consistent.

Even before this past game there were times he had to take a breather...which I think is all that's going on.

From what I saw, he couldn't keep up.

Couldn't even get lined up.

Who's our conditioning coach? That guy has to go!

From what I hear, Ra'Shede's injury is not a major injury, but he's just dealing with the same old shoulder injury he's been dealing with since high school, when he tore his labrum. He never had surgery on it and, from time to time, he tweaks it. He is one of many Gophers that could use the bye week this week.
