Is there a person more un-educated about the Gophers than Randy Shaver? I stopped listening to 93x because the guy literally has 0 idea of what he is talking about and doesn't even put a half-effort into knowing MN sports.
 

Yes, apparently GopherWarrior. His predictions come true less often than Myron P. Medcalf's predictions come true.

First, his M.O. is prep sports. Secondly, Weasel, Josh, and Nick have frequently said they get angry texts when they talk about Gopher sports because most people don't care and they won't until we win. This is a bandwagon town that loves to support a winner. Don't expect him to put any effort towards the Gophers anytime soon on 93x, because their listeners don't care.
 

He knows more than Bob Sansavere. People rip on Souhan and Reusse for some of their opinions, but at least those guys pay attention and occasionally watch a game.

Really? I don't think Reusse watches any Gopher football.

Sansavere was criticizing the Gophers for welcoming back Mbakwe this morning. Thinks the program should move on.

Wouldn't shock me. I assume he was on KQ? I'm a creature of habit and I've listened to KQ nearly every morning (or caught the podcast) since I started listening in 1991. I didn't listen today because it was a "Best of". His sports "reports" have been laughable for his entire run there. Tom or somebody else will ask a question about a player or who a team is playing and he has absolutely no idea. He sits on Google and gets his answers by searching. A guy who makes his living in sports should know all of that right away.

I'm not just talking about the Gophers. He knows the Vikings, but every other team, he has no idea. I'd expect a sports columnist in a major market to know the rosters inside and out. I bet if you stopped him on the street, he couldn't name 10 players on the Wild roster.
