as I certainly havent gone back to study game film but it seems to me that in the Michigan State game our offense had the quarterback move to a roll out--play action type emphasis--and it worked so well. Weber seems to be at his best rolling out--and with our offensive line problems --it gives him more time. Have we gone away from this in the last two games? If so why.

We haven't gone away from that at all. Didn't you notice in the Illinois game we tried it over, and over, and over with zero results? The play action was figured out right after the Michigan State game. Yesterday we tried the play action and Weber got sacked about 5 times. This team doesn't have enough talent to pull of the play-action.

I think what the Good Doctor meant

Was sprint action right, with a roll of the pocket. It takes some talent up front, but after it worked against Michigan State we filed it.

The one thing we do know is that a Head Coach without any head coaching experience should never hire an Offensive Coordinator without any offensive coordinator experience.
