The whistle blew when Iverson got hacked before the shot clock horn went off. If there was no foul why blow the whistle early? Then they tack on the technical just to job us a little more.

That could've been a huge turning point...ouch

What's the name of the D-Bag

Official who blew the foul whistle before shop clock; then denied it.

He should be fired.

Tubby

So any idea what Tubby said or did that got him teed up?

I had the sound off so I did not hear any explanation.

His actions did not seem that outragous considering how the referees botched the call.

That whole sequence was bs. He was clearly hacked with 1 second showing on the shot clock and the ref did blow the whistle. I hope we get an explanation on that. I'm sure the staff will be asking the BT office.

As far as the technical, all I caught on TV was they said it was called on the bench. Does anyone know any more?

Nope - Tubby didn't mention it during the post game interview on CCO....

The radio announcer said an assistant coach broke a clipboard and a piece ended up on the floor which is apparently an automatic T.

We gotta get titanium clipboards for the staff. These close games are not good for the health of us old timers. ... :cool02:

After the T I was just hoping that we didn't lose by 1 point or force OT and lose.

Thank goodness we won and it didn't determine the outcome.

The worst part about this is that shot clock violations are reviewable. The refs should have taken a look to see if the foul occurred before the shot clock expired.

Horrible

I hit rewind and watched the play over live. The sideline official CLEARLY blew his whistle and indicated a foul with 1 second left on the clock. The shot clock continued to run and expired. The baseline official sprinted out and indicated SCV. The baseline official looked like he belonged in a Southwest Airlines commercial. Horrible call.

The worst thing about that play was watching Cobbs 22 feet out and Iverson 10 feet out playing catch while the clock got down to zero, or near zero. It was awful.

Monsy, As you have stated so many times on here, with all the success and money you have made over the years, you should buy the coaches new unbreakable clip boards. That would be a good use of your money.
