This team had so many chances to win and close out games but couldn't. Not getting the NIT bid is just a punch to the face for me. That is all.

I am with you-- tough to watch the tourney with the Gophers no where close to be even close to the bubble. They lose so much of their regular rotation it is difficult to think of if they will a tourney next year either.

Yes, but if we make the NIT next season with all the new faces, it will feel like the program is on the upswing.

I hope for the sake of the young players, we maybe play a few good teams in our non-conference.
This year after we lost to Purdue and Maryland to open the Big Ten, we were already destined for NIT at best due to the weak non-conference.
