I was thinking if you were going to create a highlight reel with his best plays being at the beginning and lesser plays near the end, which order would you choose? Mine would go:

1. Citrus bowl TD

2. Iowa sideline catch, no reasoning needed for those two

3. 50 yard TD vs IU. Game winning score, was the most excited I've been for the gophers in a long time during that moment.

4. One handed Michigan catch

5. EIU hurdle

6. 52 yard Wisconsin catch. Huge yardage that set up a big score in a huge game

7. TD catch against Michigan last year. Did a fantastic job going up and high pointing the ball

8. Catch against Western Illinois where he trucked the defender after the catch. Very under rated Maxx play IMO

9. 24 yard TD against Penn State

10. Second TD vs Iowa

Honorable mentions would be Cuse TD and circus catch vs OSU if you remember that one.

Love the list. I'm vaguely remembering a couple other circus catches but maybe just so many they're running together.

I would flip the top 2.

I wouldn't have the Wisconsin play on the list.
He was uncovered and he didn't score.

not to crush his dreams but i bet you cant find ten highlights of his blocking. in fact earlier this season i bet if you had tape you could find ten really bad missed blocks that lit up Mitch or David.

You won't find 10 youtube highlights of many TE player blocks. However, considering Maxx has an excellent reputation as a solid blocking TE, I will go out on a limb and predict he gets drafted to play in the NFL. :) in fact, if I were him I'd enter the draft early.

I know he had a great block at the point of attack on Nugget's TD run Thursday. Elite blocker? Certainly no, but he wasn't inept either.

Really?

Well i played the 2nd clip and the first highlight shows Maxx getting #2 when he should have blocked the LB that made the play.
dont get me wrong i love Maxx and his catching ability. I remember early in the year he missed 4 blocks in a row and Cobb got blown up 2 of 4 plays.

And If I were Maxx i would have left early too.

the NFL is a different bunch of players and speed. I hope he does well. he will continue to develop and he will be alright. but to picture him as a full rounded TE is also a little premature. He could have used another year to refine his overall game but he might not do any better in draft position so why not collect the cash early?
