Monter tweet: With Julius Randle committing to Kentucky, that means that six of the seven Wildcat recruits will play in the McDonald's All-American game.

Go Gophers!!

Damn. #1 PG, SG, C, and PF now in the 2013 class going to Kentucky (ESPN rankings).

and the one recruit that isn't in the McDonald's AA game (Derek Willis) originally committed to Purdue but then reneged once Calipari offered. Now's he's going to sit on the bench at UK instead of possibly being a starter from day one at Purdue.

I'm guessing Kentucky will be the first team to go from National Champions to losing in the 1st round of the NIT and then being ranked in the top 10 in the preseason polls next season. How good could there team be? Even assuming Noel is gone, but Goodwin, Cauley-Stein, and Poythress have all said they plan to return to Kentucky but who knows if they stick to that.
PG- Andrew Harrison (#1pg in 2013), Ryan Harrow
SG- Aaron Harrison(#1sg in 2013), James Young(#3sf in 2013)
SF- Archie Goodwin, Alex Poythress, Kyle Wiltjer
PF- Julius Randle(#1pf in 2013), Marcus Lee(#9pf in 2013), Derek Willis(#41pf in 2013)
C- Dakari Johnson(#1c in 2013), Willie Cauley-Stein
Also on their roster right now are Jon Hood(6-7 JR), Jarrod Polson(6-2 JR), Sam Malone(5-11 SO), Tod Lanter(6-2 SO), Brian Long(5-9 SO). I'm sure some of these guys aren't on scholarship but you gotta think there will be some of these guys looking to transfer and according to ESPN they are still in the running for #1 SF Andrew Wiggins, #2 PF Andrew Gordon, and #23 PG Aquille Carr.

I thought he had committed to Seton Hall, then decommitted to play overseas after he had that assault charge???

Yes, Carr says he's going overseas.

Also, it's Aaron Gordon.. he does have a brother Drew, who played for New Mexico after transferring from... UCLA.

Aaron Gordon is ridiculously good. Next level type legit.

As for Kentucky, this year will quickly be forgotten.. they will be NICE next season.

That's a lot of big time recruits who hope/expect a lot of playing time. I could see it being a problem for some, especially if Goodwin, Cauley-Stein, and Poythress do stay. There's only 200 minutes to go around each game.

If Wiggins and/or Gordon commit and they don't win the National title Calipari should be fired on the spot.

Kentucky

I cannot stand that all the big time high school players want to go to Kentucky and it has nothing to do with Calipari. If you are a top 20 player why not go to your own school and be the man and not a follower? Anyways all kids care about is the NBA, and all basketball fans care about is college.

FWIW, I care about the NBA and am a fan. Prefer it to college slightly. My love for the Gophers is mostly what gets me to stay watching and supporting CBB.

Didn't even notice I must have wrote Andrew for both Wiggins and Gordon. I didn't know that about Carr ESPN just had him as still under considering although I know that can be quite outdated at times.
