Local kid SLP/SA HS class of 2008
OK, I've kinda been sitting on this, but does anyone know why we never extended an offer to this kid. I talked with one of his coaches last spring(I'm a track coach), he is a legit athlete 4.4 to 4.5 speed at 220 lbs, seemed to be a good kid too. If I remember he had a leg injury and missed a good portion of his senior year, maybe Brew and crew were planning on waiting until his senior year played out, anyway I was just curious if anyone had any insight.

I believe that was the year we had Reeves, Maresh, Tinsley, Cooper committ? maybe just not enough rough for all those LBS. Just a thought...

To be honest, losing good football players to the service academies doesn't really bother me.

His commitment to the Air Force probably was more important than his commitment to its football team, in his mind.
