Jordair Jett

Kind of crazy how average Louisville looks this year coming off a NC. They haven't looked good in either game and I can't see them making it further than Thursday next week.

Jett or Mathieu? Little Dre for me!

Jett would have been nice to have in a gopher uniform

The way Andre played this year we could have used Jett at the 2

So would Chambers, Nate Wolters, etc. If only the Gophers had 30 scholarships they could offer every good MN high school player so they wouldn't miss on the 5 who pan out.

Are you talking about the Andre who was our leading scorer and was out for the two losses that probably cost us a tourney bid? That Andre? Jett like Wolters and many before needed to go elsewhere to get PT he probably wouldn't of been the same player if he was a Gopher...Jett's grades also weren't the best coming out of High School.

Well, it's not like you're picking names out of a hat. You get to watch them play. The trick is to recognize what you're looking at.

Quite a few here on the Hole felt Jett was not a high-major-caliber player.

If Jett was in better shape he could be extremely good.

I've seen him three times this year and he has looked more hobbled than out of shape, and still hits the floor and is efffective. Tough as nails, like Little Dre, but a lot stronger. I would have him in a New York minute. He did do the JUCO route before St. Louis I think, though. Probably helped in his development as a player.

There were issues with qualifying to get in weren't there?

At the same time it's not like we are not signing them and other BCS schools are.

We need more outside shooters, not less.

As for Chambers, surprised to see how much he has struggled this year. Other than turnovers, his numbers have gone down compared to he freshman year. He shot just 38.3% overall from the field, compared to 50.3% by Mathieu.

That is his body since HS, he is a thick kid, not much fat at all.

We could have had him over Mav, but timing with Cobbs leaving it did not work out.

I don't believe the Gophers can pay Wolters enough to lure him away from the Bucks. Plus, I believe he has no eligibility left.

Jett played 1 year at a Prep School and was a 2010 qualifier. Should've offered him over Maverick or Armelin. Plus he had a Baylor offer. Cobb was a non-factor in his lack of getting recruited.

I know he went to prep. If I recall correctly he was already commited when we offered Mav.
