Joel Maturi and Chris Farley

I'm reading a biography of Chris Farley called The Chris Farley Show. Apparently Joel Maturi was dean of discipline and head football coach of his high school while he was there. There are some great passages about the two of them and one thing I found hilarious is that Matt Foley: Motivational Speaker (one of my favorite characters ever) was based on Joel. If you get a chance I recommend it.

I hope that means Maturi doesn't live in a van down by the river.

Maybe somebody should go down to the Riverflats behind Comstock Hall and check...
