National power Findlay Prep of Las Vegas will attest to Hollins’ abilities, surviving his career-best 46-point explosion for a 70-65 decision over the Spartans Thursday night in the Mike Miller Classic at Lausanne Collegiate School.
“He is one of the best four players this program has ever faced, and I’d compare him to one of our best in Avery Bradley, who’s now with the Boston Celtics,” said Findlay coach Michael Peck, whose team was ranked first in the ESPN preseason prep poll, and is ranked fifth in Maxpreps and Rivals’ rankings. “Hollins moved, hesitated, got himself open for his shot – and from 8-15 feet, he was money all night. If he’s not considered Top 10 nationally now, he will be.”
******Andre has been asked to score for his this team but will play pg for the Gophers*********

We still have Devoe’s scholarship and are considering picking up a Juco point guard as described in these gopherhole posts.

Right now we have 9 scholarship players. Next year we will add Oto and his ability to shoot, Walker will come back, Ellison will be available plus Joe and Andre will bring us back to 12 scholarship players. It makes sense to bring in a Juco with Devoe's scholarship since we only have one player in Williams class so if we add a Juco to his junior class that will balance out our scholarships a bit better and bring us up to the 13 scholarship limit.
