Hmmph.. Lacey and Daniels now not expected to compete... but Jamari Traylor is.

What gives??? I bust my a$$ this morning to get all my stuff done so I can kick back for a couple hours and watch Joe. I turn to the game and it's the *&^!#*&^!#*&^!#*&^!#ing Women's NIT Championship Game? I'd rather watch my dog take a dooker in the neighbor's yard....Warrior?

Sucker! Made you watch the girl's NIT.

J/K... sorry about that, but thanks for the warning.. I had DVR'd it.. delete time. No idea what the story is - they *might* show it now on Monday at 8:30pm CT... from people that were at the game, they said there were maybe a few hundred spectators, tops, but don't know why CBS College Sports didn't wind up showing it live as was advertised. That station is a mess.

The cable guide said it was supposed to be on too.

How did Joe do?

Apparently he scored 8. No idea any real details cause the coverage on this thing is an abomination. Apparently they didn't get the proper sponsorship to show the thing on TV. Their Facebook page has a "boxscore":

GOT NEXT 109
Jahii Carson 12, Macari Brooks 14, Phil Greene 9, Norvel Pelle 10, Juan Anderson 6, Dorian Finney-Smith 16, Jamie Crockett 11, Ben McLemore 14, Jamari Traylor 11, Frank Kaminsky 6. 36 59 14 109.

GOT NOW 100
Adjehi Baru 16, Dave Sobolewski 0, George Marshall 0, Joe Coleman 8, Martin Breunig 6, Nick Faust 19, Rashawn McElrath 13, Jarrod Uthoff 10, Nnanna Egwu 20, Zach Price 8. 49 46 5 100.

Sounds like an exciting game, but no one got to see it, and apparently not many saw it in person either.

I asked for thoughts from a Marquette-guy, with no interest in/ties to Minnesota, who was at the game yesterday:

"Coleman didn't do much in the box score, but part of that (just like Juan) was that he wasn't looking to score whenever he touched the ball, like many players (Faust, Crockett) did with the all-star game atmosphere. He had a couple jumpers and did a very nice job breaking the press against the Black team when they went to a man-to-man full court press. Pesky on defense. Didn't do a whole lot of driving to the basket (again, not looking to score much) but had some nice passes.

Didn't stand out, but was under control against pressure and had a nice handle."

Marcus Twitter:

"Joe Coleman had eight pts, includ couple acrobatic layups and a thunderous dunk in the Next All-American Classic Sunday in Chicago."

Hmmm...something doesn't add up. The other guy says a "couple" jumpers and didn't do a lot of driving, meanwhile Marcus states a "couple" layups and a dunk. He had 4 baskets at most LOL.

They should at least post the game on their Youtube channel or something so people can watch it.

I wish we had that Nana Egwu guy just so Sid would have to say it!
