Very good news. An important recruit in the larger scheme of things. Lets get another two, including a point guard and have a stress free spring recruiting period.
 

Not surprised, when it is between us and Santa Clara we should win that 99% of the time. Still very good get, easily the best player in Minnesota that is going to be a senior

This is very good. Joe is a very solid player, and should be ready to play right away with his strength and athleticism.
 

ALRIGHT JOE!! We needed him to commit in the biggest way. Now, keep the ball rolling, Tubby and co.
 


I'm hoping he pulls a Austin Hollins and shows up on campus 2-3" taller. Either way it is an excellent get for the Gophs.
 

Nice work Tubby & staff. Locking down Minnesota's truly elite players is a must. Now let's go to work on the Apple Valley kid & keep him out of East Lansing.

Ha! It's just not very often one gets to throw that line out there when talking about a guy actually name Joe.

For the easily amused of course.
 

Lets hope this is a case where he doesn't want to go on the record with anyone until after he talks with Tubby later today. It would be very, very nice to lock him up early.

He's no ordinary Joe.
 

He's not going to Santa Clara. Common sense. Iowa State I was concerned about, but not SCU.

There's about as much chance of him going to Santa Clara as there ever was of Cory Joseph choosing the Gophers over Texas, UConn and Villanova. 0%.
 


Please people, use the moral of this story (and about 100 others) and stop using Myron as a way to break a story/news.

Thats great news, I remember an interview with him months ago and he said he didnt want to live in his brothers shadow. So I thought he might not choose Minny, but when I saw it was down to Santa Clara or Minny, all doubt was erased. Welcome aboard Joe.
