Mbakwe was asked for an answer: Did this one night reward all those years on campuses?

"Definitely a reward,'' he said. "This is something I'll remember for the rest of my life.''

Him and all those people who proved that it's possible to storm a raised floor.

Zulgad: Trevor Mbakwe is able to quiet his critics for at least one night

As for seeing his former coach, Mbakwe admitted there was "extra incentive" to beat Crean. "We were able to trash talk a little back and forth but it was fun," Mbakwe said. "I was able to beat him."

That was not lost on Crean.

"That's a great man that's one of the best rebounders in this country and certainly in our league and he was the toughest guy on the court tonight," Crean said. We did not answer the bell there."

Typical a-hole journalism...

Did you even bother to read it? Yes it has Souhan's typical brand of humor but overall it is a very positive and accurate story. I know the general assumption around here is that Souhan and Reusse have nothing good to say ever and most of the time that is right but in this case that is not true. Might be worth actually reading the story before running it down.

@tmbakwe32: I haven't tweeted for awhile but I'm so happy right now. My teammates showed great heart tonight. Thank you for everyone who didn't leave us

Hahahahahahahah. Good one. National Archive-sized volumes of good pub and positive stories from Soupcan couldn't make up for the cheapshots he takes at the football and hoops programs on a yearly basis.

Jim the pyscho Souhan hates the gophs one day loves em the next... the guy has mental health issues.

Might be worth thinking hard if I'm serious or sarcastic before going on a little baby rant.

Shut up soupcan. So much for Tubby losing the team. What a moron. He should stick to the only thing he knows anything about. The twins.
