Man I'd love to see that former Wolverine running the show for us. It's DAMN impressive what he's been able to build in Palo Alto. It'd be sweet to see a guy running our program who can build along both lines while handling the pressure of re-building a perennial doormat in a power conference. I'm particularly impressed he's done it in his 3rd year at a school that is so strong academically. It'd be akin to Pat Fitzgerald taking NW to the Alamo Bowl last year... Oh wait, he did that....

Well, I guess I'd take either of them! Brewster vs. either of them in a poker game? Who wins?

Looks like Harbaugh is not only a better coach but also out recruiting Brewster while having to deal with tougher academic requirements. He is starting a true freshman at QB as well. Harbaugh also doesn't feel the need to talk himself up or his recruiting, he just works hard and gets it done as he did as a NFL player.

Actually while you are right about him being a good coach, recruiter etc etc, Harbaugh ran his mouth a considerable amount when he first got to Stanford. The very first season, I remember him complaining about academics at Stanford, saying how low the academic requirement at Michigan were and also insinuating that Pete Carroll was going to leave for the NFL soon. Of course, it appears that he is able to back up all his talk, so far.
