Jim Caple, former Pioneer Press and ESPN Page 2 columnist, recently passed away

I stumbled upon this beautifully penned tribute written by Caple’s nephew a couple of days ago and was caught completely off guard. Caple’s easily my favorite columnist that I ever read from Pioneer Press and then enjoyed his ascension to Page 2 on ESPN in its salad days. Enjoyed his work. His passing was too soon and yes, a terrible way to go to.

Yeah that sucks. Wish things could end better for some people. He was one of them.
