Jesus to the rescue!

Really impressive how a lot of people/schools/organizations are working together on this.

Found this quote interesting:

It’s believed that TCF Bank Stadium workers are considering constructing a makeshift above-ground heating system with PVC pipes that will blow warm air onto the field. St. Thomas’ vinyl tarps would cover the pipes until some point when the field was deemed ready.

Best of all, the Vikes are going to get them their tarp back cleaner than when they got it.

The very last part of the article was interesting:

And the craziest stat of a weird week: The Vikings (two) lost more home games in 2010 due to weather than the Twins (one) in their first season outdoors at Target Field.

Are they already counting the Bears game as a loss?

I think they simply mean weather caused them to not be able to play their game at home, not that they actually lost the game when it was played.

No, I think they are saying they they "lost" the ability to host a game due to weather, not they actually LOST the game on the scoreboard.

Well, after Monday night both may be true statements.

Yeah, to be clear... I AM already counting Monday as a loss but that's me. :)
