I'm hopeful that Coach Kill is transitioning well to his new lifestyle. It's been a drama filled year, but our favorite team has a shot at some momentum. A win yesterday for our Gophers was what the doctor ordered. A brutal controversial loss for the Badgers makes it a bit sweeter.

Our Gophers have been mostly manhandled by the Badgers for the last 10 years or so. We need a win to stop this nonsense.

If Jerry is able, I hope he considers having a role in Saturday's game. I'm not talking about coaching, but how about an insprirational speech to the team on Friday night? Or perhaps, how about surprising the team and being in the locker room just before the team comes in before the kickoff?

Jerry has got a lot of grit and guts left with this team. It's Senior Day, it's Becky, it's the last game of the season. It's just right. See ya' there Jerry!

P.S. I'll do the Gopher, if you and Rebecca ask me!
 

We are due for a Jerry Kill half time speech!
 

It would be cool to see him there for senior day. At the very least, have him introduce "The Gopher" at the end of the 3rd quarter.
 


He should be the first to hoist the AXE as well. I hope he's there !
 


Not to be a wet blanket, but Jerry needs to stay away until next season.

Tracy Claeys is the head coach, and this is his team.

Lots of nice ideas here, but wouldn't this be something?

I have to believe that Coach Claeys wouldn't mind sharing this moment with Coach Kill one bit.

Do I think it would happen? No. Would it be a powerful moment? Hell yes.

Agree, Country Jerr's WI speeches didn't work first 4 years. Let's try something different.

I don't think Clayes would mind sharing the moment with the Ole Ball Coach, after all they are great friends and Coach is and has been a mentor to him for years. Coach highly recommended him for the job and Clayes said Coach has done a good job preparing him for this moment. I think it would be great for this to happen since Coach and his family have done so much for the program, the University and the state and would be a fitting tribute and give the team some extra motivation to whip some Whisky a$$ !
 




Just come and sit in a suite and enjoy the game. Nothing more is needed at this time.

Kill will be there. It is epilepsy awareness game as well.
 



I believe Killer is deliberately staying away in an effort to not interfere with the transition. TC needs to establish himself as the supreme authority, and Kill knows it, and is unselfishly staying away. I'm sure it is killing him, but lots of us love him and fantasize about sharing some glory. I think he's trying to figure out what's next and I'm sure the players and coaches would welcome his involvement somehow in the future.

If he is around for the Epilepsy Awareness festivities, maybe he'll make a post-game lockerroom appearance?

I believe Kill should be there for senior day for those kids that he recruited and helped. not saying he needs to do anything else on game day but for the players it would be special to run out there with Jerry waiting for them to shake their hand and wish them well in this very important game

Jerry of all people know who's team this is now and would do nothing to upset that but remember this staff has been a close family for more time than most people keep friends. He would be a blessing to show up and send off the seniors!

Damn right he should be there! We need everything we can get! Would be one hell of a celebration! And one hell of a way to go out! No matter what, it's Senior Day and he will be there for those seniors!
 

The players are smart enough to know that the Kill era is done.
They never had a chance to say goodbye and thank the coach that they love so much.
The Players deserve this.

He's a friend of the program now. Guys like Bell or Eller or Bud Grant can show up and wave to the crowd. So can Kill.

YES! The only problem with this is I fear for the stadium. Not sure if it can handle that much noise.
