Seems to me I remember a certain team starting a special postseason journey in Kansas City about 12 years ago? Or am I wrong, it didn't happen?

You are right SS. But, we were a #1 seed that year, a special year indeed to those of us who observed it, even if the NCAA later ruled differently. Even the NCAA can't take away the memories.
