and playing in the First Four. Any reasonable Gopher fan at this point would take that end result (sans Mbakwe) in a New York (er, Dayton) minute?
I still need to see the Gophers vs. B1G competition, but one thing Palm hit on accurately is it appears it'll be a big year for the B1G in terms of NCAA bids (7-8?), relative to the other major conferences. The ACC and Pac 12 look really down, so there's likely to be more available bids out there.
Iowa, Penn State and probably Nebraska are the only B1G teams I'd rule completely out at this point.
