Kill would not be a good actor. I remember back when he was having seizures there were comments on this board about how he sounded subdued or tired in press conferences or radio segments. In this press conference, he sounds very upbeat. He sounds as confident and upbeat as I have heard him.

It is also interesting to hear Pat Reusse asking half the questions. If I didn't know better I'd say he seems to be coming around on "Country Jer"

I don't think our crack Twin Cities media crew asked a single question about the defense. I guess nothing interesting, or important, happens when the Gophers defense is on the field.

Coach Kill did point out in passing that the game film shows that on the Indiana lateral play the QB saw the pass rush coming from his back side and then rushed his throw, thereby creating the backward pass. Seems that might settle the dispute about the win being lucky since the defense forced the misplay AND recovered the ball when either team might have.
