I think that that should be a possibility. In the beginning of the year the rankings should change drastically from week to week. My problem is that then we r ahead of teams like ksu, who proved themselves last year

Aren't the Sagarin ratings based exclusively on what has happened on the court this season? In that case KSU proving themselves last year is meaningless. The early Sagarin ratings will be pretty far off but then be reasonably close to reality by mid-season.
