Pastner sorely needs quality guard play. Someone like, say, Andre Hollins.

But Hollins, who erupted for a career-high 41 points on 12-of-16 shooting and a 5-for-5 performance from beyond the arc, opted to leave the city of Memphis coming out of White Station. He ultimately chose Minnesota over Stanford.

Why?

"Because they had Joe," Hollins admitted after scorching his hometown team.

Haha, it takes until now for the Memphis people to realize that they missed out on Andre and even Austin. And yet they didn't even know the kids names until today. XD

That's a pretty bold claim, especially considering that Pastner claims that the Tigers were the first to offer both.

It's all about playing time. We had it to give Andre and he jumped even though we were in late on him. Jim Dutcher said when he brought in the number class in the country in '78 or so that thereason he got them is lots of pt to offer.
