"Indiana just put out release that leading scorer Christian Watford out indefinitely with broken hand. Had surgery today."

Go Gophers!!

AHHH. you know what it is? the basketball gods are destroying indiana for the classless court rush. if we lose we are worse than iowa.

Never like to see a young man with so much promise injured. Indiana's been a bit snakebit this year (not on our level, though). This does make tomorrow's game a must-win. We need to be able to beat a team like Indiana when they don't have their best player on the floor.

Is Jones still out as well? If so that team is absolutely decimated.

Good Lord...losing your top 3 scorers in one year? (Jones, Watford, and Creek?)

Talk about terrible luck

He wasn't looking good at the end of the MSU game.

I'm trying to feel bad, but I have a hard time after all the players we've lost this year.

Wow, I saw that play and it looked so harmless. Kinda how it goes though sometimes. WIsh him the best in recovery from that.

On another note, IU's gonna get a lot of dudes some valuable playing time during a season that wasn't gonna end up anywhere anyway. This could pay off for them next season.

It only pays off if the injured guys come back 100% (or close to it!)

Well yeah, I was making that assumption lol.

Maurice Creek was never 100% this year. I keep wondering if he hit a high water mark when he dropped 30 on Kentucky's great team last year, because he didn't do anything like that this year, and another injury doesn't help his chances of returning to that "Kentucky" form. Creek was for sure better last season than he was this season - hopefully he gets 100%, I just don't know if he will because patella injuries seem to be notoriously tough to recover from. Greg Oden is another player who had a patella fracture, and he's taken an extremely long time to get back from that.

For some reason I feel like I've been hearing that for 3 years now...
