Jedd Fisch

I'm disappointed in Gus Bradley, former NDSU Bison DC, and new Jacksonville HC. I definitely think he could have done better.

His offense always struck me as more suited for the NFL than college

Agree 1000% percent. I was not surprised at all when he went to the Seahawks but was surprised when he dropped back into the college ranks at Miami. Fisch has always come across as an NFL guy to me and ultimately I think it is where he is best suited to be for the long haul.

Watching Brewster's coaching tree develop over the past couple of years it appeared that he had some good coaches but many were gaining expierience and learning the ropes. Just this off-season we've seen Fisch, McDonald, and Butler receive promotions, and good promotions at that.

More and more proving that Brewster was the problem. He couldn't retain and decide on a system.

I agree. I think if Brewster would have been a head coach in the FCS or FBS mid-major and then was hired at the U he may have been alright. He was just too raw to have his first job as a header in the Big 10.

You could have a bunch of good coaches, but if they aren't on the same page, then it doesn't matter.

Yep Brew needed a few years as a coordinator at the very least and even better as a lower level head coach somewhere before getting his shot at the U of M. He came in so green with no clue what he wanted to be on offense or defense. He surrounded himself with coaches that were very good recruiters but he never was able to establish an identity. In the end that led to the revolving door that proved to be his downfall.

I honestly think Brew will get another head coaching gig eventually and he will do much better because of what he learned during his time at Minnesota on how to be a head coach.

If I were the Brew, I wouldn't sit by the phone waiting for it to ring...

He is nearly 53 and has never run an offense or defense. Add that he blew his shot here. I don't see him getting another shot.

Bradley has now hired Bob Babich as his DC. Bradley was the DC for Babich when Bob was the HC at NDSU, so there is a connection. But I think Babich will be a disaster as a DC. He was the LB coach for the Bears until recently under Lovey Smith. Smith made him the DC for the Bears for a single year but was terrible. I don't think that will change anytime soon.
