He is the OC for the Jacksonville Jaguars. visor still looks to big.

How this guy keeps getting a job is beyond me.

Goes by the saying "If you can't impress them with your knowledge, baffle them with mounds of BS" and Jedd apparently had volumes and volumes of plays.

He was in Seattle in 2010. He and Gus were on same staff. He rarely lasts long in any position but on the flipside, has set himself up for a ton of positions with his vast expertise in networking.

Yea, that is a pretty fair assesment, I would say.

He'll probably become the next head coach for the Minnesota Vikings.

He was in year one of a new style of offense and produced similar or better results than the first and second years of limegrovers system.

He wasn't nearly as bad as gopher fans and local media would like to think

People put down others because they don't feel good about who they are, plain and simple. There is something inherently wrong with someone who utters mean-spirited remarks. One of the lowest forms of human behavior is to belittle others in an effort to gain a false sense of superiority. Insulting comments people make are, ironically, not about the intended target. They are about the person making the comment. Research shows that when people are ugly to others, all they are doing is pointing a finger at themselves - what they say about you is how they feel in the very pit of their soul. This I can guarantee.

you have the same schtick over and over and over. "emotional ghosts. must be his wife. must be his dad. must be his brother. send him my best." one of these days can you just admit that deep down you are very scarred.

Well, he did have a four year starter at quarterback to work with.

Fisch was hired to complete the transformation from the spread and the team rushed for 99.5 yards a game, the lowest total in the last 58 years at least. (source)

Weber wasn't a four year starter when Fisch was here, he was in his third year starting and in his first in a non-spread.

Fisch wasn't hired to "complete" a transformation. He was hired to orchestrate a transformation.

My apologies....a three-year starter and returning second-team all conference quarterback.

Brew quotes during 2009 spring football:

On coaches Jedd Fisch and Tim Davis working together
“I think they’re doing a great job, and Jedd (Fisch) is our offensive coordinator, and he coordinates how our offense will run and Tim (Davis) has a very strong input in that. Jedd (Fisch) has done a great job of coming in here and incorporating our style with what we are going to run.”

Brought in to work with Tim Davis and continue with the style established in the bowl game against Kansas.

my post was a subtle jab to posters who respond without reading the thread.

So, I guess the real question is....

Jedd Fisch, great Offensive Coordinator? OR, greatest Offensive Coordinator ever?!

He was okay. Didnt have much talent to work with. Had to teach a quarterback a new system and the quarterback was one of the few good players on the offense. The little talent he did have was recruited to play a spread system not a pro system. It was his first coordinator job probably threw too much at the kids.

Obviously he is good enough to be paid 6 figures the last 6 years.

I don't understand why you have to be so offended that I said he wasn't horrible. If he was horrible, so is limegrover....because they've had similar results.

Including special teams and defensive touchdowns.
In his third year limegrover averaged 18.75 ppg in big ten play.
Limegrovers offense averaged 17.22 in his second year in big ten play.
In the first year limegrovers offense averaged 16.25 in big ten play.

Jedd Fisch's offense averaged 20.5 in big ten play.
