Nick Janowski (23 points, 5 rebounds) and Ryan Dufault (13 points, 4 rebounds) led the Tommies to their first win in Vermillion since moving to Division I. Brookings (South Dakota State) now is the only Summit League city where UST has not won. The Tommies trailed 39-37 at halftime but shot a blistering 65.4% in the second half to pull away. The 'Yotes, playing without leading scorer Isaac Bruns, were led by Jordan Crawford's 22 points.

Dribbles & Scribbles
-- Stanford arguably has the craziest NCAA Tournament resume in all of college hoops. The Cardinal are an impressive 4-2 vs. Quad 1 opponents, 6-3 combined vs. Quads 1-2, and have a 5-2 record vs. teams I currently have projected into the Field of 68, but they also have three Quad 3 losses. Hence, the NET ranking of #72, which accurately reflects their up-and-down nature. They'd be an interesting case study for the NCAA Selection Committee right now.

Deep Thoughts, by Buzz Studley
After losing at home to Tennessee, it's apparent Alabama head coach Nate Oats and his University of Alabama donor/judge (just call him "TRO") need to find a couple more pros for the Crimson Tide roster.
