St. Thomas (15-5, 8-9 ATS)

NET: Tommies fall 4 spots to #120
Torvik (T-Rank): Tommies fall 3 spots to #113

#135 North Dakota State 68, #120 St. Thomas 65 (in Fargo)
Trevian Carson scored 16 points and grabbed six rebounds to lead NDSU (16-5, 6-0 Summit League) past UST (15-5, 4-1), extending the Bison winning streak to six while ending the Tommies winning streak at nine. Treyson Anderson and Emil Skytta added 11 points apiece for the Bison. Nolan Minessale and Isaiah Johnson-Arigu led the Tommies with 16 and 15 points, respectively.

UST had turnover issues, committing 15 (seven Minessale) for the second straight game, leading to a 21-12 advantage for the Bison in the points-off-turnovers battle. The Tommies outshot the Bison from the field (42.3% to 38.5%) and three-point range (32.3% to 30.8%), but the Bison's points-in-the-paint edge (34-20) and edge in second-chance points (9-2) proved to be critical.

The Bison now hold a 1.5-game lead over the second-place Tommies in the Summit League title race.

Dribbles & Scribbles
-- A blueblood getting swept by the Bay Area schools? Is Hubert Davis officially on a red-hot seat at North Carolina?

-- New Mexico transfer PG Donovan Dent (12.4 ppg, 6.5 apg) has been a disappointment for struggling UCLA. I'd put him no better than 10th or 11th in a ranking of Big Ten point guards.

-- I can't stomach watching Chad Baker-Mazara play basketball. It's ridiculous the crap he gets away with. Basketball is meant to be played on your feet, old man, quit flailing, flopping, and falling down looking for a call.

-- Bubblicious Movement: #20 Iowa and #28 Kentucky move above the bubble with road wins over Indiana and Tennessee, respectively. Falling off the bubble board completely are #38 Indiana, #43 UCLA, #55 Creighton, #62 Washington, and #69 Oklahoma. ... they all gotta' earn their way back into the conversation with a significant win.

-- On the rise bubbler? #44 Santa Clara. Fading fast bubbler? #45 Baylor.
