The Toms have a been a solid road team (4-3) and are on an 8-game winning streak, but they've been pushed twice (Denver, @ ORU) in their first three league games.
-- Kentucky came back from the dead to stun fellow bubbler LSU 75-74 in Baton Rouge on freshman Malachi Moreno's 17-foot "Christian Laettner" shot at the buzzer. The Wildcats trailed by 18 points early in the second half. Former Omaha stud Marquel Sutton scored a team-high 16 points in a losing effort for the Tigers.
-- Texas and Stanford picked up the most significant wins among bubble teams. The Longhorns knocked off previously unbeaten Vanderbilt in Austin to add the Commodores to a solid group of scalps that also includes Alabama and NC State.
