"Separation Week" Awaits Summit's Top 4
North Dakota State (4-0) and St. Thomas (3-0) remained unbeaten in Summit League play with road victories Saturday. Both teams have a game prior to their first meeting Saturday in Fargo. The Bison get an extra day of rest hosting 4th-place South Dakota State (2-1) on Wednesday before the Tommies travel to Grand Forks on Thursday to take on 3rd-place North Dakota (3-1).

-- A really nice win for North Dakota State last night, coming back from 12 down at halftime to win @ Omaha on a Damari Thomas-Wheeler drive to the basket at the buzzer. Those are the kind of wins that (down the road) can win you a championship.
-- St. Thomas has won eight straight games. The last Tommie loss was Dec. 3 @ Montana State.
-- There's zero question after three games that Tommies redshirt freshman guard Nick Janowski would be an early-season 1st-Team All-Summit League selection.
-- Put a fork in Boise State. From a legitimate at-large contender to completely out of the conversation in one dreadful week. That's what 75-58 (Grand Canyon) and 93-68 (Utah State) home losses will do to you.
-- I found myself in an uncomfortable position yesterday. ... I was pulling for Wisconsin to beat Michigan. Mostly because former UST guard Andrew Rohde is now a Badger, but also in part because (most) everyone likes to see David slay Goliath. Wiscy and Michigan played a banger; that one felt like March.
