Tommies Embark on 3-Game Road Trip
The Toms begin a three-game road trip tonight at Oral Roberts. They'll also visit North Dakota (Thursday) and North Dakota State (Jan. 17). It's a trip that very well may set the tone for the remainder of the season, as the Tommies will be favored in two if not all three games. Win all three and the Toms become the clear favorite to win the Summit League. Winning two likely means it'll be a dogfight for the league title all season long. Lose two or all three and UST in all likelihood is playing for Summit League Tournament seeding the rest of the way.

-- I’m in favor of giving players five years to play five seasons. Ditch the "redshirt" designation. No more of this six, seven, or eight-year college stuff. You get one "free" transfer and that's it. After five seasons you’re done. If you were injured, that's life, tough ti**ies. Max age limit of 24. Let's get the old men out of college basketball.
