Seriously, how well did he play yesterday? Maybe just as impressive was his post-game interview with Rittenberg.

That being said, the motivation he had to prepare for OSU won't be there this week (hopefully).
 


He was good. Nice arm (maybe better than Stanzi's) and good composure. McNutt, Moeaki, and Johnson-Koulianos make for a nice set of receivers.
 


I have a feeling that watching Theret and Royston try to guard Moeaki is gonna be painful.

Vandenberg is considerably BETTER than Stanzi. He has a stronger arm, is more accurate, and so far has shown himself less prone to making large strings of terrible mistakes.

Sadly, at this point the one thing the Gophers and Hawkeyes have in common might be that both programs have backup QBs who are considerably more talented than the players who start in front of them.
