...would not see significant minutes at Indiana or Iowa...or any other team in a major conference for that matter. And as I type this, Maverick is tied up and forced to call a T.O. Wow...

Iverson has had the worst 2 game stretch I have seen from a player in years

I've never seen a player miss as many bunnies as Iverson does. And I don't get what Tubby sees out of Mav out there.

Mav, Iverson, and Rodney are killing this team.

Yes this is True....more so Rodney and Iverson than Mav cuz Mav doesnt log many minutes

As Iverson goes, so goes the team

I haven't examined the stats, but it seems to me that when Iverson is good, this team is tough to beat. When Iverson is bad, this team is borderline unwatchable. This is what Tubby has given us, so it is what it is.

Iverson was quite good to end last season. Sometime either during the offseason or to begin this season he degraded severely. Seems like he lost his attitude. He used to be tough. Now he's soft, and pressing his game. Perhaps he felt slighted to outplay Ralph last year, only to not play much to begin this season, and perhaps his head has been lost ever since. I don't know. What I do know is that Iverson '10 >> Iverson '11 and, combined with the Nolen, Joseph, White, Mbakwe '10, Cobb, and Rodney (not developing as a player) ordeals, I'm not sure how many worse things could continue to happen to the University of Minnesota basketball team.

Between the football team, the basketball team, the TWolves, the Vikings, and even the Wild, why does God hate Minnesota sports? Even the Twins end up facing the only team they can't beat every year in the playoffs. Being a Minnesota fan is simply heartbreaking, time after time after time, nothing ever goes right.

you forgot the Lynx injuries year after year and native son Tom Lehman usually kicking a tourney away late and the St Paul Saints--- eh I guess no-one knows anything about the Saints

might have to move down a division or two-- Duluth football National Champions, Winona State basketball, St Thomas baseball and basketball plus the rest I can't think of right now

They wouldn't see nearly as significant minutes on our team either if we had Nolen, Joseph, and Walker on active duty.

We have EIGHT players. That means they all will see significant playing time.

We certainly are snake-bit. Because we manage to lose in every sport in the most depressing and dispiriting way possible, again and again.
