The NCAA is clearly setting a precedent with some of these recent international rulings. If it is not absolutely clear they are amateurs, they will be treated as pros. The bigger can of worms is the whole college/university issue that appears to be the problem in this case. European education at high school and college level (our terms) is very different and I have great sympathy for anyone who has to do transcript evaluation, etc. to make their system fit into ours.
Some American basketball consultant is going to make some dough establishing a business helping these families navigate the college basketball scene in the United States.
