Listening to his rant right now (though entertaining) is also sad. What he's saying makes little sense.

I listen with my great grandfather, so he can translate for me. Sid made some good points about how we need better administration support.

I think he's making a lot of sense. At some point you need to stop blaming coaches and start blaming the administration.

Making sexist remarks is not the best PR move, sid. That's the pitfall of having a 90-year old guy on - no filter.

Sid's wrong about the coach not being the problem. Brewster can't coach. That's a fact. He's right on about the commitment to winning that exists in the administration.

Senile Sid should hang it up and retire to Florida. I believe that Boca Vista has a few foreclosures available.

Sid does sound a bit like, Kermit the Frog these days.

Brewster mistakes.
1. Changing coordinators constantly
2. Changing offenses three times
Result: You can't build a program without stability, he did not have it.

He's nuts. A mid-season dismissal, in this case, just doesn't really matter.

At the point you lose to South Dakota and Northern Illinois on the way to a 1-6 record, the "timing" doesn't make any difference.

And, frankly, Horton deserves to coach the next 5 games more than Brewster.

Sid is absolutely embarrassing himself. Even for him, this show is trainwreck bad. That's why people listen now. Not because of the info he provides. Once again, he whiffs on this. He's been saying the U wouldn't fire Brewster and so now he's pissed.

He just doesn't have the contacts he once did - most have either died or retired. He isn't that connected. If he was as connected as he says, then there's no way this should surprise him. Brewster was going to get fired. Hell, Cory Freaking Roufs broke the story, while Sid continued into Saturday saying they wouldn't fire him. He's lost it. The sooner people realize it, the better.

Might be true, but his strength supposedly was recruiting. In my book, he got an F- in recruiting. Its nice he has a bunch of guys transfer from DII schools, but there is a reason those kids went DII. We need someone that can light a torch under the program and get some of the blue chip players from this area that end up leaving the area.

Maturi is no gem either and bears just as much blame. He seems to let these coaches run themselves into the ground without explanation. Lets hope we get someone who knows the landscape and someone who can create a fun program that is successful!

The resources available at the U really make it hard to compete against NDSU and SDU. Nothing else needs saying. Time for a change. It is not the administration.

His credibility disappeared

when he said he wants Glen Mason back.
